Which Boots?

I can't afford both colours at the moment, I still want to buy a boyfriend blazer and also I need to buy a dress to wear to my sister's wedding in April (oh and also airline tickets from the UK to NZ!)

My boot collection at the moment is as follows:

- black knee length boots
- dark brown knee length boots
- black ankle boots with brogue detailing.

In either brown or black I could see myself wearing these most with my denim pencil skirt and perhaps dark grey tights (or brown with the brown boots). I would also wear them with a couple of black jersey dresses I have.

Hmm... Personally, I prefer the black in that style, but it sounds as though the brown would add more variety to your wardrobe. Because you've already got 2 black pairs and one dark brown, maybe this lighter brown would be a nice change?

Nice boots! I almost bought a similar pair in red. I vote black hands down. It will be easier to create a long lean line with skirts and dresses that way.

I'm glad to hear the vote for black. I bought boots a similar height in black in HK recently just for that reason. It was hard to decide between the grey, tan and cream they also had. I thought that the leg lengthening option would be best with such a flat, cropped boot even though it did feel more "safe" an option.
