Where to find good, decent fitting sheer nude tights or panty hose? I am putting together my holiday capsules which includes my red block heel pumps. If I include my very nice charcoal sweater dress I do not think my black or off black sheer hose or black opaque tights will work with the red shoes. Do you think the dress will work with the red shoes if I wear nude hose? If so I do not have a decent fitting pair. In order to get the legs to come up to my crotch I have to get tall ones then they come up to my boobs on the top.

I like Hue and Commando. But I would probably do nude fishnets, not just regular hose.

I sometimes have similar problem. In " my" size they seem too short. Next size up works in some brands but in some, then the ankles bag.
I'll be interested in solutions, too.

I like nude fishnets for special occasions. I always go up a size because they are never long enough. I would rather have the waistband up around my bra than the hose falling down.

Nordstrom's own brand of ultra sheers sold at the Rack for something like $6. Some Racks have them and others don't; haven't seen them online. They are called control top, and I hate control tops; these are pretty much out of control. Cheap as chips so you really can't go wrong.

I'm looking for ultra sheer knee highs. Most knee highs look like support hose on me. Yuck!

Nordstrom. Calvin Klein does the BEST nude panty hose in my opinion - and I have tried them all.

Useful thread. Haven't found my "nude".

I like fishnets in concept. My toes get caught in the webbing and my eventually feel like walking in Ross cross wires. How do I keep the bottom of my feet comfortable?

I also buy the rack ones that Donna mentions. They don't have a ton of shades but if you match one you're golden. My rack has non-control top sheer to waist ones. They are basically disposable but pretty much all hose are disposable for me. I tend to put a finger or a toe through them, if I'm lucky when I'm taking them off, if I'm unlucky when I'm putting them on. Lol. Ymmv.

Always Trying, I would recommend trying nude fishnets. I think that they have a little more "give" and can work for a variety of heights. I am short but often have problems with the crotch feeling too low on nylons because I have a big rear end for my size, and I have found that fishnets don't feel more comfortable, probably because they can stretch more where I need them to stretch more.

Seconding what Gigi said. I also size up a size to get the hose to come up to the crotch, especially if they have a control top.
