I had the pleasure of hosting Astrid today on her backpacking trip around NZ.
We met, walked in our local botanic gardens and shared a lunch of bread, cheese, avocado, salad and melon at my home. And coffee of course as we are both coffee fiends and I used my average barista skills to prepare some NZ Flat Whites.
Of course I recognised Astrid immediately, and she is a warm, friendly person with a good sense of humour. She is attractive and has lovely eyes and skin (although she is finding the NZ sun fierce, which it is). We had plenty to talk about.
She is heading south now for further adventures...
