What types of tops are people wearing with Gap LEANS?

I love my Gap LEANS and am wondering what types of tops are ok to wear with them. Do they need a tunic top or is it ok to wear a shorter top. And what about volume? Any info appreciated.

Yes, GAP LEANS are the same as GAP Jean Leggings.

I think the answer depends on how comfortable you are exposing your thighs in these leans. For me, they look and feel more like jeans so I wear them the same way I would skinny jeans - which is with normal length tops and tunics.

ah OK:) I have not worn mine yet - it is still too hot !

Here is my opinion: Since they have "bum pockets" I think I might be able to get away with shorter tops. I have these ones:
http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....=768454002 I tried mine with some black wedge peep toe shoes, this navy blue & white striped tee http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....=771987002 and a black boyfriend blazer. I really liked the look!

I also tried them with one of those "grandpa" long cardigans and boots / flats ... I liked that look too. I think they are really versatile.

Ooo- good question! I have been wondering the same thing about my BR Martin skinnies. It actually hit me AFTER I had already worn them with a shorter but voluminous top that they might look best with a tunic length top. (I'm a bit slow...)

Mae, BR Martin skinnies are a different animal in my opinion. They are much more substantial - not so clingy and I believe than anyone can wear them with normal/shorter top.

About Gap leans, I got them to wear them as leggings only, bu it turned out that I can get away wearing them as regular skinnies, or at least I think so. I wore them with the Gap cowl neck top and I thought it looked fine.

I loved my black KC tunic If everybody is ordering another I guess I have to order the ivory KC tunic also. I don't want to be left out. I have no will power at all.
