What to wear for Jars of Clay concert

I am going to a Jars of Clay concert Saturday night in San Antonio, TX. Any suggestions on what to wear? We are going to dinner prior to the concert.
The temps have been in the 90's during the day, and in the 70's at night.
I looked up the former threads on this topic, but they were for rock concerts. I don't think the style is quite the same.

im not totally familiar with their music, but would your purple/pink/white printed top from j crew work? then maybe your clam diggers and white sandals. you could bring your pink sweater if you think you may be colder later on. although with my concert-going experience, that rarely happens in a crowd of 10,000 of your closest friends.

I love Jars of Clay -- I hope that you really enjoy the concert. I think that Shell's idea of clamdiggers with a cute top and a cardigan if you think it will get cool would be great.

Oooh, Jars of Clay...sounds like fun! I agree with Shell and AJ, try some variation of the clam digger mom-on-the-go formula with one of your great J Crew tops and you should be set!

How fun, Sarah!

I like the idea of clamdiggers, because it has been so warm, and it will probably be warm in the concert venue, too. I'd wear a sleeveless top and layer a cardi or jacket over it. If you wore your white clamdiggers, you could wear your denim jacket, and maybe your yellow printed sleeveless top with the bandeau neck, and your new red ballet flats. Then if you got hot, you could just take your jacket off and your outfit would still look really cute.

Do you have anything sparkly? I always think that rock concerts are the perfect time to break out a little of the glam.

Oh, I like them too. You'll have fun.

Is it an outdoor concert? If yes, and if you'll be on grass, then you want to make sure your shoes don't sink in the grass!

If it's indoor, then you want to make sure you can take layers off if you get hot, or add them if the AC is cranked.

TO me, concerts (unless they are classical) are casual events. Jeans or Clam Diggers would be totally appropriate. Even a casual skirt (if you don't ahve to sit on the ground!)

The concert is indoors. Great thoughts, everyone! I have some great ideas to work with.
I love the idea of wearing the white clamdiggers because they are super comfortable.
So is it appropriate to wear a denim jacket with (white) denim clamdiggers? Or white jeans for that matter?
I *am* in Texas, I suppose.

I can't remember exactly (so I could be wrong) but I think that Angie said white denim was okay, but not blue denim with a blue jacket.
