These dresses have been thrown in the flea market basket a dozen times. At the very last moment, though, I always rescue them and store them safely back in my closet. There is the problem: I STORE them back, because they haven't been worn for at least 3 years now.

I bought them a long time ago, while living in a warmer climate and back them they were fine to be worn on their own with flats on chillier days. Since I moved, they've been theoretically repurposed as spring/summer dresses, but as I said... they didn't really come out to play.

I can't find shoes or jackets to go with them (I am no fan of sandals!). Do you guys have any suggestions? Or are they that unflattering and therefore should be tossed without second thoughts?

#1 Jeans dress: mid-calf length, fit-and-flare, buttons and embroidery details in red.

#2 Olive cotton dress: also mid-calf length, V-neck, brown-ish/burgundy-ish stripe on neck and on 3/4 sleeves.
