Huh. I guess we just need to wear looser skinny jeans (or does that defeat the purpose of the look?).

Also interesting reading are the related articles about the health hazards of fashion.

I saw this too and just rolled my eyes. I hardly think there is going to be an epidemic of pinched nerves due to skinny jeans, especially when they are in the right size and have a bit of stretch. There isn't a huge difference in the fit of skinnies and other jeans anywhere above the knee anyway.

I saw this a few weeks ago, but I think that the article might be referring to "skinny jeans" to mean a pair of jeans that are really too tight, but that we can squeeze into on our "skinny days", rather than the actual cut of slim-leg skinny jeans.

"The condition starts when tight-fitting clothing compresses a nerve in the groin close to the skin's surface. Put enough pressure on it, and the whole nerve can begin to react, running from your groin, to your outer thigh and down toward the knee."

It sounds like that too-tight jeans/pants are a bad idea no matter what the cut!
