maybe kitschy? I think i spelled that correctly...
example: i love bows, hearts, stars and just about anything that comes out of a Betsey Johnson store (hello giraffe earrings!).

Sometimes i worry this is alittle young/childish for me. And other times i just don't care. I like it and i want to wear it! (should i throw in a pout and a foot stomp for good measure?). -_-

This came to my mind because yesterday i bought an oversized cropped shirt with a giant black heart on it. I love it and i want to pair it with my suspenders for a fun contrast...

ok i'm done rambling now. thanks for reading and any therapeutic responses are welcome.

I think a splash of "whimsy" would be a good way to describe the style; as long as the rest of your clothes are appropriate.

A girl I know is our age and wears head to toe kid stuff. Like Disney Princess t-shirts. Baggy jeans. Sparkle princess ball cap. Purple converse. All baggy. NOT flattering. NOT cool. So GAH.

I confess to having wine glass earrings, a silhouette of a running girl charm, and other such references in my fashion to real life passions and/or pasttimes. Kitchsy? Possibly. But I think if one is having fun, why not!?? Enjoy those prints!!

Dresslover - cute necklace! I'm really into Betsey Johnson "mismatch" earrings right now. I just bought a pair a couple days ago! I can't wait to wear them and have someone undoubtedly comment, "your earrings aren't the same." XD

I feel you on this one - I'm in my late 20s and trying to balance out a whimsical / playful / childish / punk-princess look (Oscar the grouch t-shirt, anyone?) with looking a little more professional.

(When I try to do sophisticated and polished, though, I don't feel like myself. Romantic and flowing works better than sophisticated and bombshell, although I do occasionally wear either one.)
