Judy, I think your outfit is great! I love the skinnies, the sweater, top and the bag. The only thing I would do differently is substitute the flip-flops for some cute flats.

Susan and all, thanks for your compliments and your support to post! I feel pretty confident about my style, in every day life, but I'm used to turning the camera on everything but myself!

An arty-farty outfit. The skinnies are superb and so is the boyfriend cardi. The knitted top looks interesting. Good colour combo. The flip-flops (I suspect you know how I feel).

I think I did the flip flops (they are actually these very nice leather ones I got last summer) because I really wanted that care free summer feeling that we don't have that much of here. I wish I could wear gladiator type sandals, I think those go well with skinnies.

San, they are Levi's 510 super skinny men's jeans, in the rigid wash...but they faded and shrunk with washing. I actually have a duplicate pair that I've worn much more seldom and never washed, that are still nice and dark and scrunchy at the bottom.. I really liked the ones you posted yourself in...can't remember if I replied to you or not...the one's from Armani X, I think?

Judy, what a great news about your son! Totally modern Berlin is really a place to be...
Anyway, I made my european comment because with this outfit and a cup of Sturbuck;s in your hand I can see you easily walking through my beloved London. Just finish coffee and get a rusty bike with a basket and you will be a girl from Amsterdam, add a long crunchy baguette; Paris here I come!
You have to ask your son about Berlin look so as to know what accessories we are missing...
For sure in that combo you could be one of these people on the street from Sartolialist photos!

I’d never heard the word “artsy” before I came to America. We use “arty” in English-English. And “arty-farty” is a very English word used to describe someone with an “artsy” edge. Par for the course, Judy. Things can get lost in translation on THIS international forum!
