What I Wore Today: Slouchy Boots & Dress

Taking a cue from Angie, I'm wearing a summer dress (black) with no hose and boots. I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but I scored a Hayden Harnett studded leather cuff on ebay recently -- it's my newest favorite thing.

That's an awesome transitional outfit, Laura! I love the chestnut boots with the dress. Are you wearing a top over the dress (I can't tell from my crappy monitor). And the Hayden-Harnett Ramone cuff -- one of my favs! Is yours the black one with different colored pyramids?

Awwww, thanks everyone. Yes I am wearing a loose sweater over the dress. They promised 75 degrees today but the sun never peeked out and it's still in the 60s.

Cathy, yes, you have it pegged - it's the Ramone cuff, and it's crinkle black patent, and the studs are all the same color. Now I want to collect more! I wonder what colors they'll make for fall?

I love stacking those cuffs! I have two Ramones (black bronze wizard snake and platinum lizard) and a violet crinkle patent Celine. They have some cool new styles for the fall:

Based on these colors and the F/W lookbook, here are my guesses as to fall Ramone colors:
- Black
- Gray shine
- Grape shine
- Yam shine
- Some kind of gold/yellow/beige color

We were virtually twins today. This is what I wore:

NAS Theory sheath, eggplant biker jacket, chestnut slouch boots, apricot triple layered pearl necklace, fishnets and new red Talbots bag. And Marianne saw me in this outfit today so she is my witness.

Angie's outfit was beautiful and very elegant. Of course it's like saying "the sky is blue". Angie, the one thing that stood out to me is that your colors were very autumnal and more subdued than usual, even though still rich.

Great outfit Laura! I love how you are so comfortable with what I consider edgier looks. They go perfectly with your haircut. The cuff is fantastic. I also appreciate that you combined black on black with brown boots. I would have never done that, and I ask myself now why not. Love it, from head to toe.
