What I found at Target today...

Just made a quick trip to my local Tarjay for a Mothers Day card, and somehow found myself making a fast review of the new clothing items that Angie reviewed. Then to my surprise, I spied a somewhat familiar face! Gathering up my courage, I asked this lovely lady, "Do I recognize you?" (Yikes, what a stupid question!!!)

Well yes, it turns out I DID recognize her, for it was the very fab Aida -- with a big armful of clothes and a smile on her face. What a beautiful person she is, so gracious, and sweet. Turns out we live fairly close so maybe we'll run into each other again...who knows. Anyway, just had to share this fun moment with you. Oh, we were in the Everett Target, about 30 miles north of Seattle, in case you were wondering.

I was just logging on to write about this Sheila it was great to meet you today, what a happy surprise! I'm so glad you asked; I had just caught a glimpse of your bright citron jacket (which I loved!) out of the corner of my eye and was secretly admiring the fun bright color. And teehee, your question wasn't silly at all! I felt silly for replying, "I dunno, do you?" (how would I know, it was what you just asked me?) -_- Glad I still managed to make a good impression on you ^^ Ladies we should all hope Sheila can get photos up soon, she's charming, sweet, lively, and lovely. I hope we run into each other again (The armful of clothes paid off, I found some cute dresses!)

I'm thinking we Everett ladies should try to meet for coffee/tea/sweets locally sometime (Andrea, looking your way too!).

(Kelly and Mary, you're both sweet ^^ Next time I make it to the Bay area I hope I can meet both of you as well!)

What a fun surprise meet up!

(April, I was holding all of the items on Angie's list that I could find at our small Target I loved the seaweed wrap dress but am simply not busty enough to fill it out so I had to pass; Khris has it and it looks lovely on her, I would highly recommend it! I hunted for the military shirt and chambray dress but alas couldn't find them. The only thing from Angie's list that I purchased is the twist front dress in blue which Kelly and Kim also have; it's very flattering and will work for many body types. I liked the straw tote, it also comes in a straw/navy stripe; will keep them in mind for future purchasing. I got a whole slew of other stuff though 0:) )

Way more than I had planned (which was: one dress)! I'll try everything on again this weekend and post photos of what I plan to keep/have questions on

EDIT: List is something like: several dresses, a pant, a tank, some jewelry, 2 scarves, 2 shoes, an umbrella....

Angie, you were right on the money when you posted "Fab Finds At Target" yesterday! Here's my list of fab finds:

#1 -- Aida!!!
#2 -- the blue dotted twisted-top dress that everyone else seems to have purchased
#3 -- and finally...a Papyrus Mothers Day card, which was the item I went there for...but fortunately, serendipity and Lady Luck led me to Aida. Woo hoo!

Aida, thanks so much for your kind words...I am still shaking my head with wonderment over our "accidental" meeting yesterday. Oh, and you're correct to describe our local Target as small. The selection there is always meager compared to one of the doubledecker stores, such as Northgate.

And I like the idea of an Everett mini-get-together. Might be easier to pull off than one where there are more ladies whose schedules often don't coordinate well. Let me know your thoughts about this idea.

Every time I'm at Nordies at the Mall of America (because lots of people travel just to go shopping there) I keep hoping I'll see a vaguely familiar YLF face. So far, no luck!

Awww, how awesome!

I'm not in Everett, but if you end up with a mini-get together and are okay with those of us further South attending, I would totally head up there.

Also, I'm not sure if this would interest anyone, but one of my friends who lives in the north end of the state found a tea room in Marysville that is halfway between our areas. It's not fancy, but we enjoyed our lunch there. Just a recommendation for those of you who are closer to the area. http://www.atticsecrets.com/
