I returned the navy blazer last night to the thrift store where I bought it. The problem with the thrift store is there is no refund - exchange only and within 7 days. Yesterday was the 7th day so I had to come home with something. This is part of the reason I am working on cutting down on my thrifting - mistakes can be a pain in the butt.

But I did find three things that I'm quite pleased with. Before going any further and looking at the pictures, my apologies for the photo quality. Having some problems with my camera right now plus my hair isn't done and I have no make up on - been cleaning out the laundry room today.

First is a fabulous white with navy stripe boat neck pull over with teal green cuffs and bottom band from Cleo. This is my version of the Breton striped sweater that many Fabbers have. I'm thrilled with this find as I've been looking around for a primarily white with stripes casual knit for fall to wear with jeans. This will work beautifully.

Second are a pair of suede leather dark forest green Ralph Lauren pumps. Despite the heel height these are incredibly comfortable. And I love the slightly unexpected colour. I can see wearing these a lot with pencil skirts, my black sheath dress and even some trousers.

Third is a blush (although it photographed quite yellow) quilted patent leather Elizabeth Grant handbag with gold hardware and chain handle. This isn't a fab brand by any means but it is leather and I love the look of the bag and it's a colour I don't have. This will have to be my version of a Chanel...for now anyway!

So I hope these three finds are better than the navy blazer and meet with your approval. Obviously I wouldn't wear them all together but this was the easiest way to do the pictures. I'm looking forward to styling them in the near future.

Hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday!
