A house!! I closed on this little beauty last week and signed the contract for a big renovation project over the weekend! (First up: replacing that cracked driveway!) The last of the divorce settlement money showed up today, so I finally feel like I can take a deep breath and talk about it online!
SO EXCITED!! It's in a great neighborhood, very close to The Former Marital Residence, close to my gym, close to work, within walking distance of the weekly farmers' market. Met with the contractor this morning and they are knocking out walls as we speak!!!
Oh, and because I like to name my places of residence, this house has been christened Queen's Landing. Because I'm the queen, and it's where I'm gonna land!
Now excuse me while I go fan myself and try not to think of how. much. money. is flying out of my bank account.
