I actually own this in the Ann Taylor verson, and wore it with leggings and heels...in the warmer months.

The silhouette and the banding are really nice. I don't look great in pleated sleeves though, and I have very narrow and dainty shoulders, so I guess a lot of it rests on how well you wear them or if you're willing to get them altered. I just dropped a shirt off at the tailor to remove the pleats from the sleeves (and under the bust). I really thought it was a look I could pull off, but they were just too poofy.

I can totally see you in that dress, Laura. It's all about the small details, and Marc Jacobs definitely knows how to do that.
It's pricey, but it won't go out of style anytime soon, I think. And I bet you'll get lots of use out of it;-)
