What do you think of these shoes for summer?

I have tried these on yesterday and they were comfortable. I like the style but I am still a dilettante when it comes to fashionable footwear

They are pretty nude color for my legs - at least for the pale winter skin I have now. I also don't have any summer wedges in my collection.
What do you think? Fun or frump?

Big thumbs up. In fact I'd like a pair too. They look like they can go more places than a regular sandal because of more coverage but not look heavy because of the nudish color.

Thanks, Jem and Joy. They are very comfy because the straps are wide and they are fixed all around the foot. They also come in black but it seems too heavy to me.
They are pretty expensive in my store ($145) but I cannot find them anywhere else online. Maybe later in the season: I hope to find them for lower price...
I also tried these but found then less comfortable: thinner straps and the back of the foot is not fixed in place. Also they were higher contrast with my skin.

I don't like #2 but I have a poisoned eye for that type of shoe. It reminds me of a bug carcass.

The second shoe is smart, Sveta, but I think the first is just a little more stylish and versatile. If the first is more comfy and reads as a nude for you as well, I think it's a no-contest!

Sveta -- definite yes. Also, as long as the straps don't dig or itch, this shoe offers more support than most fashionable sandals and features an elegant but walkable heel height.

I like the first shoes very much, but but do find them unreasonably pricey (LTS's luxury of niche market and prices that don't always promise the quality).

I'd say hang on in there Sveta unless you're totally 100% for them. Get yourself on the mailing list and you'll be receiving the mails about promotions - I'm sure there'll be some.

I think they look very cute and pretty practical. They remine me a lot of my favorite wedge sandals that were chewed on by my puppy... RIP perfect shoes.

Not frumpy at all. Stalk them like a crazy person I say then hit buy the minute they are on sale. (But that's just me) I think you'd get tons of wear from them.

LOVE the first shoe - very stylish. The second one is ok, but much more casual. It reminds me of the handmade Mexican shoes, huraches I think they're called (not sure of the spelling).

QM, you are a TREASURE! I cannot believe this unfairness though: the same company the same shoes cost twice as much in Canada as they cost in US! Bummer!!!

Ornella, you are right, they keep prices high in LTS because of tall gals' desperate need - but as nobody else cares to fill this need we have to accept the prices, right?

Just like Ornella, I am drawn to the first pair too. But I think it will really depend on how it looks on your foot.
I think they are fantastic sandals for the summer and will be very useful. Not everybody can wear gladiator styles, but you would certainly pull it off elegantly. I am looking forward for outfit posts.

I just tried it Sveta and it is coming up with 145 for me, too! Why are they charging so much more for Cdns??? I hope you can figure out a way to get them at the US price.

Claire, I cannot do high heels too but this wedge felt pretty comfortable in the store.
I don't know why they charge double price in Canada, Jem. I can understand 10-20% higher but 50%?
I am going to buy them today. Rita, big sizes do go quickly but this is a special store which carried shoes STARTING from size 10 so usually they have good supply of my size. They charge more for shoes though...

I like the strappy sandals, they are fashionable and will stay on your foot. I always look for straps for sandals, my feet sweat in the heat and then they slide around if they are not tied into place.
