What do you think about this new boyfriend and Bellatrix blouse? (K/R)

Wasn't planning on shopping for boyfriend jeans but came across these at TJMax. Calvin Klein boyfriend jeans. What do you think? It's a nice change in comfort level from skinnies and tight-fitting bootcuts (would be great for weekend wear), but are they too baggy?

Also , here is the last NAS purchase - Bellatrix sheer blouse. Comments from reviewers on the Nordstrom website were pretty funny ("shoulders make me look like a quarterback", "the pattern looks like a court jester's outfit" etc.).

I loved the blouse when I tried it (Bellatrix) but didn't think I'd wear it enough. Huge yay! It's hard to tell about the color on the first one, though the fit looks fine. Better light for the photo?

Makrame, I really like the new blouse, and think it looks stylish and unusual.

The jeans are a bit hard to see in the pic, so it's hard to judge the bagginess accurately.
How loose are they around the waist? Did you try a size down to compare?

That was the only pair of jeans left in the store so I haven't tried other sizes. It's my normal size in CK jeans but seems much looser than the bootcuts that I used to have from the same brand.

If you are a slim pear like me you may need to size down in this style unless you want them very loose? Can we see a lighter pic to better judge?

Makrame, the jeans look good. I like the fit and would be interested to see them in a profile shot. The blouse is gorgeous. You must keep. Will work dressed up and casual.

I like the blouse, it's really pretty. I think the BF jeans are pretty good, too, but look like the legs need to be more tapered.

Can you let the jeans slide down further and belt them lower for a slouchier look?

Really like the tops, and I think the jeans are the right size and can work!

I like the blouse! I like Laura's suggestion to let them slouch more if you can! I had to get a new belt for mine (thrifted) as I usually don't wear things that low!

The BFs look a little baggy to me. Love the blouse. I ordered the polka dot one, and I personally didn't care for the shoulders. I understand the football reference. On you, it looks lovely.

Makrame: Love the blouses, although it's hard in the pic to judge the color with your skintone. LOVE the jeans -- this is a nice wash, a little more "polished" than some, and I'd say they're certainly not too baggy. Actually, this is a kind of "refined" way to wear them, loose, but not sloppy, and that seems to suit your style and figure. Some might like a more tapered hem, but I don't,particularly. It should seem like you're wearing your guy's jeans, and making them look amazing. If anything, I think you could, if you like, size up. I'll let others chime in about length, my eye is not the best for that.
