I'm going to attend a fashion event on Thursday where I will be seeing designs from up and coming designers. I like to wear this green dress since it's from one of the designers showing there. What is your favorite way of wearing it? I have worn it before before (http://40plusstyle.com/bright-green-drape-dress/) without pants underneath but like to wear it with pants this time. The wrap is now also buttoned at the back instead of the front. Don't mind the bra as I will choose a better undergarment. I know that the white pants are too short when worn with heels, but I think it's still acceptable?I may even choose to wear the hat. What do you think? All your opinions and feedback appreciated!

I like it in #1 - the streamlined pants offset the flowing top to balance it. I think I also prefer the color combo.

You look KILLER in that green arty tunic! Gorgeous with the low slung belt, Sylvia.

I like #1 best hands down. No hat. Just lovely you in that amazing green. I do think the white trousers are too short to wear with heels.

I do not prefer the volume of the white trousers with the top - along with the short inseam in heels. It takes away from the beauty of the tunic to my eye.

I *am* very picky about cropped pants and what I feel works so that the look is flattering. You are right! I do think you accomplished this in #1.The black high vamped sandals look like a continuation of the black cropped trousers, which elongate the leg line. Ideally I'd like to see the black pants a little more tapered, but you pull it off!

I hope that makes sense.

This is stunning in color and shape, and definitely "you." I think you're slender frame makes the white trousers a possible choice, but I agree with the others that the slim black pants allow the tunic to shine.

Another vote for wearing the first look. I like the slim pants better than the wide ones. Narrow white pants might also work.

The white pants. They complement the line of the dress. Do not wear the hat and maybe put your hair in a bun, since your hair matches so well with that shade of green. The black pants do look good, and they're more mainstream, but they dampen the colors too much and make the whole look seem wintery. Don't worry about the length, it looks perfect, and most importantly, on purpose! At first glance I thought you wore them with those shoes specifically to get those white hems further off the floor and make them easier to walk in.
#1 is great for the mall, but for an event like that, #6 will be most appropriate.

That green dress is fabulous on and when I saw #1, that outfit looked wonderful on you. Although I do like wearing white and green together, it doesn't work this time because of the volume of the pants.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and great to read that there is at least 1 person who likes my white combination! I know I'm quite alone in liking this dress over wide pants look. I will have to try it on again and see what I will do but I guess I have to go with the wide majority!
Of course I'm going to try and take lots of pictures of all the new designs and videos as well.
