Weekend in Seattle

I'm headed to Seattle for a long weekend: 90% chance of rain in Saturday down to 20% on Sunday and a mere five degree temp range! Casual is all I need.... Suggestions for absolute must pack? From drought and heat challenged Southern California I'm out of practice for this climate!!

Waterproof boots or shoes that are comfortable for walking and a light rain jacket are the must-haves. Otherwise, bring a few sweaters to layer--I find that some places have the heat on and some don't at this time of year, especially since it's been 70-ish until the past day or so.

No advice except to wear comfortable shoes that don't slip on wet pavement. Have a wonderful time.

Start with footwear first. (Angie just did a post about this.) Build your outfits around those, and bring at least two pairs of shoes so you have a change. I would suggest comfortable boots or booties that you have treated with weatherproofing solution.
