Which is better to wear with wide leg trouser jeans: wedge shoes or wedge boots?

My gut says it doesn't matter, since a trouser leg jean would cover most of the shoe, anyway.

Like Rae said, I think it wouldn't matter for the look, although I personally find wearing shoes under jeans more comfortable.

I had wedge boots and it really didn't make a difference.

What's your dominant climate? I wear booties all winter and shoes in spring/summer. I think what you wear is going to be determined by preference and the weather.
