Ever found yourself wanting a better version of something you have that hasn't even gotten a good amount of wear yet? While looking for cobalt half d'orsay flats I slipped on the Madden half d'orsays in grey patent last weekend when we were in Nordie's. Loved them. But I have silver pointy toe flats from last Christmas. Only about half a dozen wears due to the sweaty climate here and corresponding lack of need for closed toes.
Mine aren't that comfy and are the only shoes I wear the low ped linings in. By contrast, the Maddens felt much better and I love the darker color. Think my BF would notice if I subbed them and sold the originals? I would wait for a sale, as there's no pressing need. Do you do this? Would you do this?
