Trying again with the boots -- which work better?

So I returned the Luxury Rebel boots (which Una totally rocks!) and ordered some desert-like booties instead. Which pair do you think works better with pants and dresses? I primarily intend to wear them with pants, so if one pair works better with pants, let me know!

The first pair are Dolce Vita Aisha boot and the second are the Dolce Vita Jasper boot (taller one).

Thanks again for your help!

P.S. Ignore the grey striped shirt with those pants -- I just threw the pants on because I wanted to see how they work with the boots!

I like the desert boot (shorter one) best with both the pants and the dress. With the pants, I can't quite figure out why I like them better, but with the dress, they really show off your slender ankles and lovely calves. Under the pant, the desert boot just looks a little more hip to me, somehow. HTH

I like the Jasper boots. Especially with pants. If you wear them with a long boot cut with just the toe peaking they will look like completely different boots than if you wear them with straight legs (as pictured) with the lacing detail showing.

Hm, I prefer the smooth leather ones with the pants. But then I prefer the suede ones with the dress, since the color matches your skin tone better. I think the smooth ones go better with pants because the higher heel helps continue the shape of the pant leg... if that makes sense at all. I agree with Refugee that they'll look great with boot legs, too (love a high heel with bootlegs vs. a mid heel).

I'm voting for the Jasper. I prefer the color with your leg color, the smooth leather, their height, plus I think thier style will have more longevity. . .

Not that the other Aisha look bad at all, but just in comparing the two. . .

I think I like the taller Jasper boots better because they are sleeker--the other ones seem a bit too clunky and wide for your delicate feet. The Aisha seem out of place with the slinky dress. I'd love to see you with some heels with the dress too. So did you decide to keep the purple dress then?

I like the taller smoother Jasper all the way.

Vote for the Jasper boot overall. The Aisha is alright with the trousers, but feels a bit clunky with the dress [to me].

I like both boots with the jeans (and I like they grey shirt)

I'm soooooo in love with that striped dress that everyone has, not sure about it with the boots. I can say I know it's the style, but I just cannot get my eye to really like it.

I like them both with pants, but the smooth leather ones are a better fit on your ankle and leg with a dress. Nice choices!

Looks like the Jasper will be staying!

Firecracker -- no worries! We all have our own tastes. As you say, I do think it is a more current look.

Natalie -- still waffling but leaning toward purple. I love the orange color, but the dress doesn't feel like it fits as well as the purple on me.
