I do like wide leg pants, and here's a photo of me in the widest pair I own:

I know what Angie is talking about when she refers to them getting in the way. But I only feel that way for the first few minutes of wearing them. Once on, I don't think twice about the extra fabric swishing around my ankles. But, then again, I'm not out running errands or shopping in these pants. I do think they make me look taller and better balanced.
