To Cut or not to cut - Hair that is...

I watched a few episodes of House of Cards on the weekend and was struck by the simplicity of the hair style worn by Robin Wright. I was just commenting on how much I like Janet's sideswept bangs and how I might have to go there. The I saw this shorter version and I am seriously thinking about cutting my hair short again. My avatar is short but my hair has been 4-6" past my shoulders for quite a while.

What do you think? Yay for go short and nay for keep it long and test drive the longer bang.

It look like she has thin, fine hair, which makes it so sleek. Is your hair the same consistency?

As long as you are comfortable and feel 'wow' with your hair short or longer I would try the shorter haircut. It looks like you have worn your shorter in the past and liked it. Therefore I say go for it. Make sure your stylist understands what you are looking for exactly.

Talk to your stylist, see what she thinks. I am all for trying new things with hair. It really ups your style, and it will always grow back if you don't love it

Robin Wright inspired me to go short again, too. My hair is now more layered than hers but I think I'm heading back in her direction. Anyway, I would say yes - especially since you've been there, you know you look great in short hair, and it's a fabulous cut.

I think you should play with the bangs on the hair you have now because it looks to me like you have some cow licks that would make styling a flat side sweep bang troublesome. If you find that's not the case by playing around with the styling now then go for it.
