Three questions (skinny pants, Hinge jacket, boots)

1. Here is the Hinge jacket on me. How does it look? Does it fit okay? Here is the only top I have that I think "goes" but now that I see it in a photo (and compare it to Megan's jacket with a gray top) I want to try gray.
2. I recently ordered these boots because I wanted a pair of flat riding boots to wear over jeans (not necessarily these black skinnies). Are they a yay or a nay? The height is not quite knee high, so I'm wondering if it shortens my leg at all?
3. Is it okay to wear black skinnies as pants, or should I treat them as leggings?

I like the jacket and boots. I think the black skinnies are great as pants.

I like it all and think your top is long enough to wear the skinnies as pants. I'd not thought to wear brown boots with this outfit but like the look. It seems softer than black boots would be.
My eye is adjusting to the fuller top under this non-body hugging jacket and like the look on others but on myself I keep reaching for long-but-fitted tops to wear under this jacket.

Sarah, you look absolutely gorgeous. Yes, the jacket (looove the jacket!) fits you just perfectly and yes, the boots are beautiful and not too short at all and yes, the skinnies are just right as well (because of the lenght of your top). I admire how chic and elegant and polished you always look, no matter what you wear and what's the occasion.

Everything looks like it fits nicely. The boots are a great find! The red jacket looks great. If you want the jacket to be the statement piece, then keep the red, but if you want it to blend in, then try the gray. Which color goes with more pieces in your wardrobe?

I love the red, AJ. I don't have red, but I do have lots of jeans, black tops, and boots. I definitely want the red, I'm just not sure what top to wear with it, and I wanted to make sure the jacket fits well before the return policy expires.

Everything looks great except that my taste would be a slightly longer top with this outfit--just for clothing proportions, not to hide anything! I wear black skinnies as pants all the time.

Your outfit looks great. I really like the creamy color of the top against the reddish hue of the Hinge jacket. I have nothing more of value to add, except that I just had to say: I would totally kill for your collarbones....someone told me back when I was in 6th grade (and a very chubby 6th grader at that) that collarbones were a mark of beauty or something....and in spite of myself, even after all these years, I still wish I could see mine

OMG, for some reason I thought you were holding a cigarette in the first photo. There's something white near your fingers and upon second look of course it isn't a cigarette

I don't love the top with it (as you said), but the jacket looks great - perfect sleeve length, shoulders look like they fit - and you look wonderful in red.

The jacket looks fantastic-- I really like the red. I like the color of the top with it but I think it's the deep v with the dark cami that is throwing me off-- or is that part of the top? The boots look fabulous. It's kind of hard for me to see them from the front but the buckles are great. You can definitely wear the skinnies as pants.

I think that cream or white top may have too much contrast with black for your liking. Do you have grey pants? I found I really like my grey Martin skinnies with this jacket as they echo the grey in the jacket...
I see no problem to wear these black skinnies as pants if your tops are the correct length.

Love the jacket, skinnies and boots! Love the top too - but am wondering if the outfit would look better with a darker colored top so that there isn't as much of a contrast between it and your skinnies?
