This dress was handed down to me some months ago, and now the weather is warming up here in Oz, I tried it on and wore it to church yesterday.
As with many things handed down from this (non-ylf) friend, it is good quality - and not what I would have chosen myself. I am attracted to drapes but often feel that they are not best suited for my lack of upper body curves (well, you know, I mean a bust!)
The basic design is a shift, but there are 2 quite full straps which are attached under each arm. I think the idea is that you can play around with them to do different looks.
It is navy, but I have overexposed the first 2 pics in an attempt to show you the design.

One minus point I discovered after wearing - the drapy neckline really makes wearing a cami a necessity, which really limits how much I can wear it in our hot summers.
