thoughts on double breasted BF jackets part 2

This is a continuation of the discussion we had in part one where we were considering whether a double breasted jacket can be a boyfriend jacket. If a double breasted jacket looks good on tall thin people or does it swallow them up. Should a boyfriend jacket fit well at the shoulders or be a bit too large as if you have borrowed it from your boyfriend.
My husband came home and took some pictures for me, but they don't answer the questions. I think it always boils down to what the eye says.

If a double breasted bf blazer looked that good on me I would be ecstatic. You look incredible and I love it with your new tunic.

I have a feeling this is going to be a matter of trial and error for all of us, lots of trying on different blazers etc. But this one works for me San. I have a slight preference for the unbuttoned version, and it just looks absolutely gorgeous with your new tunic. Wow!!

The last blazer with the shoulder pads looks stunning on you as well.

General remark: can you get any more stylish, Sandy!!!??? Your incredibly fab new pixie cut, that denim tunic, the shoes, the different blazer silhouettes... And best of all, we can see that you feel confident and happy about it all. WOW!!

You completely ROCK the double-breasted blazer look. My eye appreciates the fit of it better on you. I think it has to do with your lean figure; I'm curvier and the double-breasted doesn't work as well. I'm jealous!

I agree with Inge's general remark: Wow! You look absolutely smashing. Seems like you took to this style thing like a fish to water

That said, the single breasted jacket looks off to me. The shoulders and the pockets aren't the most flattering thing I've seen on you. I like the double-breasted jacket open -- it's very 90s!!

San you look amazing in this jacket, but I truly think you'd look amazing in anything. I am pretty anti-double breasted though, and can't help but think you'd look even more amazing in a similar, single breasted version.

I know I said it before, but your new hairdo looks so good. Is this how you have styled it yourself? It's just gorgeous!!!!

I've been gone for several days with no computer and am trying to play catch up. You look wonderful, but my favorite is the open doublebreasted with that fabulous tunic. You are truely an inspiration!

Your style quotient is through the roof. I really like the double breasted blazer, it works for you. I am just trying to imagine myself wearing it and I think the hem would probably touch my ankles!:)
