The moto was a dud...

My moto arrived yesterday... and it is a dud... too long in the body, too narrow in the hips, and too many zips across the shoulders... Worse, I was consoling myself that I would get one at Danier when I travel to Canada in a few weeks... Suz post looks like that option will be out...
Back to the drawing board for finding a jacket/coat it seems...
Any ideas for a multi purpose elegant modern classic jacket for 0-15 celcius temperatures are most welcome!

I am so sorry that this one didn't work out for you. If you are interested in Aussie made, keep an eye on Motto's website. I can't be sure what is around the corner but I got the most fabulous jacket last year. Stoc photos are #1 and #2. Showing you this to give you an idea of the styles they design. We are just seeing the Autumn / Winter items starting to trickle in and I know there are some very cool jackets coming but I am just not sure how warm they are until I see them in the flesh.

I'm sorry. I know how disappointed you must be. Deborah's suggestions is gorgeous though. You can almost feel the quality of leather in the picture.

I think the Danier stores will be open a bit longer to sell off stock. You may still be able to find something that suits there if it is within the next month or so. I wasn't able to see what the actual closing dates are or if they are closing all stores.

It seems like each year the NAS has some extraordinary jackets. If you don't find one before then, give it a look.

The moto may be a dud, but your a Fabber, so what is now a HEWI will either present itself in time for cool weather, or you'll find something completely different that works just as well in your wardrobe!

I have very bad luck with online purchases, but there is so much more selection compared to B&M, I've got to give it a whirl more often.

What a shame!
I have had no luck at all either ordering jackets online.
I only just bought one from a Siricco store, and I am really happy.
Nothing beats being able to try on various styles in person.

Really sad to hear this...one of the difficulties of online shopping. I hope you get to pick one up in the Danier clearance sales. I thought that they were continue trading and look for a new buyer.
