Here are my outfits from this week, it was another neutral week. After two weeks of neutrals only, I am ready to reintroduce some color next week

Today's outfit was inspired by " The Devil Wears Prada". I have also enclosed a photo of my new Express ruffled bag I got yesterday. It's nowhere near as nice as Ana's, but it will do to satisfy my ruffled bag craving for now.

Hey Tanya - what a great week! Let me first tell you that I find your outfits very inspirational. I am in New England as well and it is already in the lower 40s here. I am a graduate student, so I am not in an office all day, where the temperature is kept at a constant degree. I am always running around, from class to library, from meeting to workshop so wearing a large coat, rain boots, etc. over cute clothes and taking them when I get to work is not an option for me. I am happy to see that you have found a style that is both cute and functional without sacrificing comfort and warmth. I will take cue from your pictures!
Of all the outfits, Saturday is my favorite. Those skinny jeans look like they were made for you and the shirt is a killer! You are knock-out!

Everything looks great, Tanya! I tried to buy that ruffle bag yesterday, but my husband thought it was weird. (That's okay, he bought me a pretty dress today so I'll forgive him.)

Bellacville, I am grad student too! I am pretty close to fishing though, so I spend the whole day in my office/lab, I don't go around the campus at all, hence my concerns are different from yours. However, I am seriously considering getting a pair of Doc Martens shoes, for comfort.

Sarah, we almost became a double bag twins I hope that the black dress is really pretty. Please post photos!

I like seeing you wear things that I also have - it gives me great ideas of how to wear them. I love how you paired your white tipped blazer with Converse. I've been haunting Express a lot lately, and it's fun to see items I love in outfits like this.
I especially love how you wear your scarves. I need to pull mine out!

My fav is the 'devil wears Prada' look..totally edgy and you pull it off with so much style! Love the cream ruffly blouse and red shoes outfit too and then the tipped jacket with Converse...I have stayed away from Converse but your Monday outfit is inspiring me to at least try them on. Also love the way you have mixed patterns in the argyle sweater and plaid pants outfit. Super week ..all 10s !

Aaaah Tanya, I love it all! The way you paired the cords with the charcoal Converse, that pencil skirt with the boots, the Express trousers, vest and that red belt, the mixed patterns. A perfect week again!!

Sarah, I have been also shopping at Express a lot this season. Maybe they have changed design teams when they recently switched the ownership. I also like seeing how other people wear same items that I have - always gives me new ideas.

Wow, Tanya. Some stunning outfits here. I have to admit that my eye is still adjusting to the cons with smater clothes. I'm so used to seeing them my musicians.weightlifting friends who certainly punk them up a bit. Interesting pairing of the button down with the off the shoulder sweater. I would have never thought of that.

My favorite outfits, by far, are Saturday. So sophisticated. Friday. I love the use of pattern. And Thursday. That sweater is beautiful.

Muequita, I would love to have you or any YLF lady as my shopping bf! That would be so much fun! Sadly there's no one living close enough to me to try.

The idea of of the shoulder sweater over white blouse is not mine so I have to give credit to costume designers in the movie 'The Devil Wears Prada'. In one of her post-transformations outfits Andy wears this combo with shiny black leggins/skinnies tucked into some killer tall Channel boots. I have always loved that look, and finally decided to give it a try, so I am so glad it gets YLF stamp of approval

Where do I begin? SOOOOOOO gorgeous!!! I can see edge coming through in your look. Perhaps it’s just the Autumn clothes but you’re dazzling my fashion psyche. Very exciting.

The argyle pullover with the checked pants sends me into orbit. SO DARING and different. The leather jacket to complete the look is pure perfection. I love that! Also, the cream cardi with the voluminous sleeves and ruffled cream top are KILLER. Love the new bag and all the grey shoes. (Thursday, Saturday and Friday are my favourites). I need a fan. Your style quotient is sizzling, it’s making me melt.

Kyle said my sentiments exactly--you consistently dress in a very stylish way. I'm trying to strive to that as well. You and Patience have inspired me to invest in some shoes and handbags (which is no small feat, since I generally hate shoe/bag shopping). I can see how much it adds to your outfits.
