Tam check-in / anyone ezi-bought?

Sorry I haven't been around the forum much recently - just had a few different things going on. I check in every few days but am sure there are LOTS of threads I am missing. It moves so fast!

Anyway this morning over brekky I finally caught up on a few ezibuy catalogues as well. A few items caught my eye. I haven't yet decided to place an order, but am considering it.

1) Capture Gather Front Tunic (http://www.ezibuy.com.au/women.....76712.shtm) - I like the mulberry stripe. Currently on sale for $35

2) Capture Pleat Detail Dress (http://www.ezibuy.com.au/women.....76379.shtm) - similar style but a dress this time. I love the camel stripe. Would a striped dress and a striped tunic be too much though?

3) Heine Embellished Dress (http://www.ezibuy.com.au/women.....74173.shtm) - a potential "going out dress". Not sure about the viscose/elastane fabric though. Also it says "tie at back", I usually don't like those. Also on sale.

4) Capture Stretch Blazer (http://www.ezibuy.com.au/women.....75081.shtm) - I was thinking about adding a ponte knit blazer to my wardrobe this winter. I'm not sure if this material fits that description though (material is different for the black & striped versions). Initially was planning on black but the stripes have caught my fancy (surprise surprise!). Not sure about the length - I'd like one that works with dresses and pants. Do you think this would fit the bit??

Which of these items do you like/would order? Am I potentially causing a "Stripe overload"?? And has anyone is AUS/NZ already tried any of these items?

Tam, I LOVE the blazer and think you should get it without question (in stripes). I think it would work with dresses and pants for sure.

The only hesitation I have with the dresses are all those gathers and pleats. I find them hard to wear. They tend to give me pregnant-belly. The "going out" dress doesn't seem like something you're really enthused about, so I'd pass on that.

Another vote for the blazer - wear it with your red jeans!

I like dress #2 too. But in a solid colour.

Mmm that stripes blazer is becoming more & more tempting. Angie I am curious as to why you don't like the striped version of dress #2? You can't see it online, but I really liked the pic of it in the catalogue. Otherwise the shade of purple its available in looks a little pale to my liking.

Maya you are right about the "going out" dress level of enthusiasm. Trouble is I need one (or 2), and there are none that I am enthused about. I am still kicking myself for missing out on this dress - bah!!!!

I have the striped blazer on order!!!

I am not sure about the dresses. The dress that really appealed to me was red and black striped. I passed because it was 3/4 sleeved

Oooh Anne, thats exciting!! Will you please post a review/pics when it arrives?? Did you order anything else? I'm tempted to because of the promo for $20 off if you spend over $100. I agree that dresses are tough though, especially when you're not sure what size to buy. I have both M and L ezibuy items, and I don't really want to have to order both in order to find out which is best, especially if the style turns out to be unflattering or the material unsuitable anyway. The perils of mailorder (without free shipping!!)

They look like great pics Anne. Can't wait till you get them. That dress does look cute but I agree so hard to know whether they'll work. Especially risky when you have to pay for both shipping and return shipping!
