Sweet Pea Tops - Fit & Sizing

I've finally decided to take the plunge and order a Sweet Pea top. I haven't had a chance to try these in store and have come across some good deals online lately. I was wondering how they fit. I have a feeling I might have read earlier that they a form fitting and so sizing up is a good idea. Especially for the well endowed. Is that true?

I really like their faux wrap styles and love the more recent color combos. I am considering the long sleeve, faux wrap tops.

Also, I've noticed they has some cute faux wrap dresses. Are they worth looking into?

Yes, they are form fitting -- the fabric is very stretchy, so a smaller size would fit, but be very clingy. If you are in between sizes or have doubts, definitely go up a size.

I haven't tried the dresses but am intrigued!

I just bought my first Sweet Pea top and I loveeeee it! It is so comfortable and flattering. Where are you finding these amazing deals? I want more!

I bought my usual size and it seems to fit true to size. Not sure if it depends on the style, though.

I found them to run small. I needed a medium, and I know Tanya found a small to be a good fit even though she usually took an xs. The small "fit" but was overly clingy.

They do seem to run small - I normally take a medium, and the large I ordered is still pretty form-fitting.

I have several in sizes from small to large. Ordinarily I'd take an XS and the small or medium is the best fit overall on me. The fit varies a bit with the style. Because the material is so stretchy I can get away with larger sizes, especially in the tee shirt cut style, but have sometimes had to cut the sleeves shorter.

All of mine are Smalls. I am not aware they make an XS? I don't believe I've ever seen an XS in Sweet Pea, but I could be wrong! I agree with Joy that the fit varies a little from style to style. Not all styles work on me. Once you figure out what style works the best, duplicate!

As for the dress, I'd skip it. The problem with the dress is that it's rather sheer. Unless you have a full length slip to go under, you're going to be revealing more than you want to. However the dress I did try on was very flattering! Hmm, but now that I think of it, leggings would also solve that issue.... I tried the dress on before leggings came back into style.

Hmm, I do want to try some of the styles. Online, Nordies doesn't seem to carry the 3Q sleeve wrap style tops. Maybe I should check in person at the store.

Marianna, I've found good deals on Smart Bargains, Bluefly and sometimes even Amazon. I don't have a Rack nearby, which is where Kari has mentioned earlier that she gets good pricing on the sweet pea tops. Smart Bargains sells out really fast so I need to step on it and order something. They don't have free shipping or returns, which is why I'm hoping I can try them on somewhere.

I usually take a Medium so it seems like the Larges would be the way to go. With my bust, erring on the larger side always seems to work better
