Summer tops--keep or toss? - YouLookFab Forum

I apologize for deluging you with photos. These are my summer tops that survived the first cut. What do you think?

Also, these are my new Long & Leans. I kind of love them, but if you disagree please let me know!

Thank you as always for all your help!

1) Just a top. Nice and cool.

2) Banded bottom top

3) I really love this top, but I'm having trouble making it work. I think darker jeans might help, and I'm considering some dark wash clams.

4) I wore the heck out of this top last summer, but now I think it might be too long. Maybe with clams?

5) Ruffles and banded bottom...not my favorite features in a top, but I love the print.

6) I normally wear a cami of the same color under this, don't worry.

8) The color of this top is beautiful, but something about the pleating/ruffles makes me feel unsophisticated. Am I just being too rigid?

9) Same top as #8, same issue

10) Another one that I really love and want to work, but I'm not sure it's going to happen. I fear it just makes me look big.

I like #3 - it shows off your shoulders very nicely. And #9 - a white breezey top screams summer. The rest are fine and I wouldn't necessarily toss any of them if *you* like them. These two just speak to me more

I also love #3. I really don't see any that I think look bad. 8 & 9 are casual but perfectly fine to my eye. FWIW, I like # 10 and don't think it makes you look big at all!

I would keep them all, and FWIW - #10 is my favorite! And the jeans look great on you.

I think all of these are good actually. I can see them each having a place in your MOTG wardrobe. You can reign in the volume of 8-10 with a jacket or vest.

and the L&L's are just fab on you!

You look so pretty in your summer tops! The only one I don't care for is 2--something about the close set straps looks off to my eye (I may be biased because I don't like this style on me--feel free to ignore my opinion) I think all of the rest are keepers--they look much better than 99% of my summer tops. LOVE #10. It's killer on you. I think the pleating in 8 and 9 add polish to a tee--I think they're fab!

i love #1, and the rest are all perfectly good casual tops. Not as fond of 2 and 3 because of the cut at the neckline, but I think 2 could work nicely under a light cardi. Agree with Kelly that #10 is a cut above! If you like and wear them, keep 'em all.

They all look good to me too! And I think that they all look great with the new jeans. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

#3 is super flattering. You should wear more tops with this kind of a halter line as it looks so good on you.

1,2,3 and 6 are my favorites while 5 and 10 are my least favorite but this is highly subjective. I like the shape of 10 on you but I'm not crazy about the print (again highly subjective). #5 just looks a little boxy but it's still cute.

The jeans look great on you!

They are all keepers, I think. 10 is my fave--it has the most personality :). 3 is really cute--maybe better with a skirt, since it's a bit short? But it looks good with jeans too.

Love #1, 3, and especially 10. The rest are nice, except for #5 which I think isn't as flattering as the others.

Thanks! I was really hoping the majority of these would work. I would like to spend most of my summer budget on dresses this year instead of more tops for jeans. You guys are incredible...thanks again for your help!

I love all of these. I like that they are mostly different shapes some with volume some slimmer fit, looks like you have most bases covered with this little lot x

You have summer stitched up - these are lovely! 3,4, and 6 are my personal favourites but I think they're all keepers...and the jeans are great! Everyone I've seen in L&Ls looks great in them - including you!
