I am considering adding one more dress to my wardrobe for summer once my SYC is done - something colourful and fun. Dresses are my favourite wardrobe item to wear - I find them comfortable and easy. Since I find Cleo petites dresses to fit me the best, wear well, easy to care for and budget friendly, I'll be going with them again. Plus they are a local store and I can try on for fit.

I like all of these dresses but am only looking to add one. Which one is your favourite and why? Also, let me know if none of them are worth trying on.

They are all nice but I don't like the underboob band on 3 and 4 as much. I just don't feel like it is very current. I find that you really need to try dresses on. You can't tell anything about how they will look on you from the pictures.

I agree completely Rita - I'm just wondering if these are worth going to try on, if any of the dresses look like they'd work with my current wardrobe, etc. Just putting out "feelers"...

I love the pattern of 1 and the color of 2. Have you ever tried the Jones NY store on Kenaston? They had a ton of dresses in last week. I bought the coral and the darker pinky red one there and there was one more I would have loved to have that was stripes in teal/blue getting progressively darker top to bottom. (Evan Picone).

Love 4 and 1. I think the colors of 4 wold be easy to mix n match with both brights n neutrals for the office. For 1 iwould worry that the pattern scale is too big

#1 and #2 are my favorites. It's a tie because I can't decide between the print and that beautiful orange color.

Number one! Definitely! The bold colours and the colour block/pattern are perfectly seasonal and fit your bright and adventurous personality. The others just don't compare, IMO.

I'd try on #1 and see what the print placement does for your body. If it looks good, and feels like you, that could be a great dress to add in. I think #3 would be a very flop-proof, flattering and versatile dress that would work well with your wardrobe too.

I think #2 seems the most like your style. I like the retro Mad men look, coral color and texture. I think between #1 and #2, #1 seems more '80's and #2 more '60's. Depends on which vibe you're going for.

Number 1 is amazing, but between the slim cut and the placement of the bright stripes at hip level, I think you'd have to be a very slim rectangle or hourglass to pull this off. #2 is a terrific color, a style that would complement almost anyone, and versatile. To me, this coral dress would make me smile and feel happy!

I like #3 and #4. The prints seem versatile and could be dressed up or dressed down depending on what topper you wore.

#2 has a more retro feel and the color is lovely for you.

#3/4 are a style that I personally no longer enjoy. This style with the under boob band was and has been popular here for a number of years and I am just very tired of it. It was everywhere. I find it a little uninteresting.

I like #4 best for you.

#1 is striking. #2 is an easy classic, retro, great colour. #4 is fun and would work with some items already in your wardrobe, but the pattern placement looks a little less appropriate for the

But if you're looking to experiment a bit and stretch the rubric, I think #4 has great potential for dressing up and down. I suspect the print will be very flattering because of the diagonal movement. I like that it nips in at the waist. (I don't understand about the underboob band --- is this the waistband we're discussing?) I like the modern but not too sporty (like #1) print --- tribal but not out there, fresh and dramatic colour. I also think that neckline is easier to wear. You can layer under the dress in transitional seasons with the lack of sleeves (btw, shoulder coverage much sturdier than #3, which is somewhat similar) and lower neckline. It's going to work with your leather jacket, denim jacket, fuschia jacket, green jacket, black or brown blazers, and of course white jacket.

Second choice is #2, which is retro, VERY flattering colour, easy to wear as an FFBO. I actually like having the chain detail there --- adds just a touch of toughness to the sweetness; but would that be an issue in the laundry? Not as versatile as the last two though, because of the magyar sleeves and high neckline. Suspect needs the addition of vertical lines in styling. Would however look fab with white and denim jackets for summer, maybe with brown or grey leather. Should work with green jacket too. Not as sure how it would because in transitional seasons or with other coloured blazers and jackets.
