In my quest for a pair of versatile black boots for workday polish, I found a nice sleek simple pair I think will work. I am thinking of keeping them in suede (they are waterproof), because my other two pairs are leather, but is that going to detract from the polish factor?
They are much more black than the close-up photo appears - more like the second picture. Calf fit is perfect and the height seems good too. However, I need to exchange for a 1/2 size up, so I have the option of smooth leather.
Yay: suede can be polished
Nay: too RATE
