I love this look and tried to copy it exactly and slightly differently. I know cropped pants don't get a lot of love around here but what do you think?

I usually wear these pants rolled with Cons when I help at the animal shelter. Should I keep them in the "work" capsule or can they come and play in the MOTG capsule? These are Kut BF jeans, btw.

Oooh; I think your look is better than the magazine (InStyle?) one! The orange blazer is amazing; and I love your green top - colours look so nice next to your complexion!

BTW; I think you can do almost no wrong with these jeans styled like you have!

Well, I like it! I think the leg line is kept high enough to do a rolled jean like this, and that you've rolled them high enough to not stumpify yourself. Awesome job!

You look FANTASTIC, and so much peppier than the inspiration photo to boot! You're ticking quite a lot of trend boxes too --- the green , the orange, the crop, the wedge, the florals. And I can't decide which of your shoes to covet a bit more, because both look so fab.

Would it work with rolled up skinnies? I don't have BF jeans plus my duppa looks hideous in oversized anything.

I really like 2. The proportions of that one work better to my eye--more skin showing at the ankle and more cropped jacket/shirt.

I like both of these because the footwear is lighter allowing the legline to extend desptie the cuffed jean. I've been eyeballing cuffed jeans myself lately, they might be a fun alternative to shorts in the summer for me since I'm always cold in a/c anyway.

Delightful! You really did this well. Both booties have their own styles and so the two version of this formula give off a very different vibe. The first is very stylish and breezy, in an "Italian" way almost; the second one is stylish and very clean lines, a little futurist, yet relaxed. Both are very dynamic and suit you awesomely.

I absolutely love outfit #1 and will try and copy it with things I have. I am short and cropped jeans do not always work. I have a pair of booties similar to yours and have been stumped with how to wear them. Now I know!

I love the colors in #2, they are very flattering on you.

I love them both too! And honestly, I think if you rolled up #1 maybe just an inch more, showing just the slightest smidge more leg, it would be gettin' all the same love that #2 is gettin' now. Both super cute!

Few women I know can pull off the "boyfriend" jean look and you NAILED IT! And I agree with lyn... You look A LOT BETTER than the magazine! You have more of a polish to it!

I’m sorry to get back so late to comment. I was having ISP issues that finally got resolved tonight. I feel like I’ve been reunited with a long lost friend! Glad the rolled up jeans work--I may have to hem them a tad so the roll isn’t so bulky--especially if I try to roll them a bit higher above the short boot. Thanks so much for the feedback. I’m so relieved that I passed the non-stumpifying test : )

@lyn: Thank you. Believe me, these pants CAN do wrong when paired with Cons. It’s practical but not pretty!
@Shannon: The booties are Mossimo from Target. They are some kind of faux suede that I managed to pick up on clearance. I had wanted to try a desert boot-ish kind of wedge but didn’t want to spend an arm and leg for something that might not be that versatile. Turns out they’re comfy because of the platform and pretty darn useful. They seem to go with lots!
@Zapotee: My duppa doesn’t look that great in this either--but they are uber comfy. That’s got to count for something! I think it would work with rolled up skinnies--it might even look better. I loved Jjsloane’s version--she posted her outfits today and they were awesome!
@Lisa: This would be a great shorts alternative. I’m thinking I might be able to wear these in warmer weather too because they are fairly loose.

@jjsloane: Thank you. Right back at you. I love the outfits you posted today. I’m totally going to try and copy yours! The orange jacket is Forever 21. I know, I know. I had posted it awhile ago and got the YLF blessing. I didn’t see it on the website but it may come back. I notice a lot of their stuff seems to go in and out of stock. It’s cotton and lined and has funky gold zips on the pockets.
@Aida: Thanks, Blazer Triplet : ) I may break down and hem the pants a tad. I can’t do the peg roll because they are so tapered at the ankle--but hemming them will reduce the bulk. The boots are an early YLF purchase--Steve Madden Maximus if I recall.

@Sarah: I can’t believe I’m reaching maximum capacity in the blazer department! I’m having fun with them though : ) I hope it’s not a phase. Isn’t that the truth? I love reading Angie’s comments and then gloating when I get it right--”that’s right, uh huh!”

I like it! I prefer the boots in #1 because they define the ankle a bit more but both jacket looks are total winners. Funny, I was just wondering today about cuffing over shorter boots . . . perhaps next time, now that I've seen your inspirations!
