I mostly don't venture into Zara because the colours are wrong for me. A lot of black, olive, rust, tomato, citron and chartreuse. But I decided to go in yesterday anyway, mostly because one of my style icons, Trinny, from What not to wear, has soooo much stuff from Zara.

And there it was, a glorious, gleaming beacon of pink tweed! Perfect for my colouring and great for spring.

The other thing I wanted to mention is that I'd like to move in a more boho direction for summer, and am giving myself the descriptor "soft natural".

Soft colours, soft hair, soft fabrics like suede and cashmere (although maybe angora would be a more affordable option here).

"Natural" means a little boho, but that needs to be curbed at work a little. Picture #3 shows a "natural" top that might look good for weekends and summer holidays.

It feels so good to see the spring inventory coming in at retail stores. There is only so much grey a person can take!
