well, it doesn't eliminate them absolutely entirely, but man oh man is my life easier shopping-wise with all the slouchy fits out there these days. I'm trying to make hay while the sun shines, but then i'm so awful at shopping....oh well.
I like this outfit a lot, tho now it's too hot to wear it (95F+); i look forward to september! Equipment blouse, GAP sexy boyfriend jeans, Fluevog shoes, EXTASIA chains and acorn, Marin City Flea market antique watch.
In these type of looks i find that your hair, shoes and jewelry are what telegraph your individual style if you're not of the modern/classic ilk. In this look my hair, heavy multi-chain bracelet and shoes get the utilitarian/rugged point across, while the lacy shoes and Victorian-era-feel jewelry take care of that part of my style heart. These little details can make or break casual looks, giving an eccentric person the conviction to carry off something so on trend and popular. They also allow you to wear many more classic pieces which you love but which don't necessarily speak to the core of your style, which makes it easier to find enough clothes (if you're me ;).
