Star Ling boots and weatherproofing

I got my Star Ling boots today - they actually tracked down the grey for me, yay Nordies! I really like the color so I think I'll be returning the cognac ones once I get them. When it cools down a bit, I'll try putting something together with them. One thing I wanted to ask - what do I need to do to prepare them for our wet winter? I've never tried waterproofing, how is it done? Does anything need to be done about the soles?

Get weatherproofing spray from Nordies. Pop it on every month and Bob's your uncle. Wooohooo! Can’t wait to see you sport the boots, Marainne. Glad you managed to get the grey :0)

Oh thank you for the tip, Angie! Yes, it was very nice of them. Even though cognac is very pretty too. There will have to be some decision making when they arrive. :)
I barely survived today, but we're heading to San Juans and it's a lot cooler there, woohoo!
