In line with Angie's post on Beatle booties today, I want to share a great movie my husband and I just rented called Good Ol' Freda. It's a documentary about the woman from Liverpool who headed the Beatles fan club (she was 17 at the time), and later became their secretary. Even though she was very close to the Beatles and their families, she's never tried to gain any notoriety from her connection with them and has lived her life very simply and anonymously since the Beatles broke up.

It's a great snapshot of the times and sort of an inside look at the Beatles and how they first took off, and Freda is just so lovely and modest. We really loved it.
