my first official post;

been spending my probation reading many of the postings here, and am confused by some of the terms; such as

RATE?
half tuck?
i thought MOTG was Mother Of The Groom, but figured out it means Mother On The Go
i need to lean more about layering; clothes, not hair
i take it KILLER is good

hope you aren't laughing too hard at me

The forum has a lot of fun creating terms. I feel like they were collected somewhere once, but I'm not sure where! Inge will probably pop in and have you sorted out in two seconds. But, for now:

RATE = Rough Around the Edges

Half-tuck = what you see many of us sporting where we've partially tucked in part of our shirt, but let the rest hang loose.

MOTG = Mom on the Go

Killer = high praise.

Killer to the Power of Killer = the very best. You've just won the fashion Superbowl!

Do a little search for what does (term) mean and you'll usually come up with an answer.

That list sould be updated to add HEWI, which I know what it means but not the actual words (amirite that it's a long-sought, hard to find item?) Also maybe add ICYMI (in case you missed it. Internet slang but new to some.)

I contributed poison eye, which is not an acronym but an inside term.

All of these terms pop in my head when shopping ("Is this a HEWI?" "Is it RATE enough?")... I'm afraid one day I'll use a term out loud and people will think I'm nuts.
