I have been having stomach issues since last summer. I get terrible pain on my right side under my ribs and feel like I have morning sickness all of the time. My PCP and I tried acid reducers of various sorts which did not help. Blood work showed nothing. The gallbladder looks good. So after six months of various tests I was sent to a gastroenterologist for a endoscopy of my stomach. I decided to have my colonoscopy check done at the same time because I was due and I would be under. Made sense at the time. Nothing but the beginning of an ulcer was found in the stomach which would not cause the issue I am having. But, they did find two sisal serrated polyps in my colon and one has dysplasia. I go back in on 6/3 for a follow up because the sucker was so large and it is an aggressive type.

Still, the stomach issue is not solved and I had to change gastroenterologists, which is really no big deal. The new gastro guy saw a narrowed artery in one of my numerous x-rays and ordered another blood vessel test and sent me to a vascular surgeon. My celiac artery is 70+ % blocked but the surgeon does not believe it inside the vessel. He thinks something outside the vessel is obstructing it. But, it is most likely causing my stomach symptoms.

Then, he goes on to look at my complete history and asks about relatives and asks if I hear swishing in my ears, which I do, then says I need to get a baseline on my carotid arteries. His words, "I am not ready to start a new discussion yet". Hmmmm. Got the results back from the vascular ultrasound of my carotid arteries and my inner right carotid artery is 50% to 69% blocked, the left 25% to 49% blocked. And as a side note, my thyroid gland is enlarged. So from asking why I feel nauseated I found out that I have

1. beginning of ulcer
2. Celiac artery blocked 70%
3. Enlarged thyroid gland
4. Over 50% blocked right inner carotid artery
5. Over 25% blocked left inner carotid artery

Basically, right now, I am a physical and emotional mess. I wonder if they can put me out and fix all of it at one time?
