My fiance bought me these to cheer me up (in gray)

I loooove them. Generally, though boots are my most expensive shoe purchase and I buy boots to last for years. So I'm wondering about the wisdom of buying slouch boots. Are they a trend that will be gone by next year or will they be around long enough to make the investment?

A fiance who buys you boots, I'd keep him if I were you;-)

I don't think slouchy boots will be going out of style anytime soon (I'm sure Angie will chime in on this too), so I'd keep the boots as well;-)

Oh the boots and the fiance are a keeper. If slouchy boots are a trend that will pass I"ll just make sure to wear them everyday possible this winter to get the most out of them. Also they will fit under my bootcut jeans so that could extend their longevity as well.

Thanks for the validation Angie. I probably would have kept the boots regardless but I'm glad to know that they are going to stand the test of time. I wouldnt want the boy to spend so much money for something that is a quick trend.
