I have my eyes on a straight legged pair ( to replace my skinnies with uncomfortable rise) on a website with not so great return policy. I know that Diesel runs smaller, but how much? I am a 26/27 ( in American brands which tend to be bigger) and am wondering if I should get 27 or 28. I used to have a pair of Diesel jeans: they were rigid ( no stretch) low-rise bootcut in 27, and they were a bit tight and uncomfortable, particularly around the waistband. But I have heard that non-stretch denim tends to run smaller anyway compared to stretch ones. The ones I have my eyes on do have stretch.

I would appreciate any input from those of you who are familiar with Diesel jeans sizing. It would be particularly useful if you compared their sizing to brands like Joe's, Seven for all Mankind and Paige. Thank you very much!
