sites for men's fashion?

I need a decent site that will help me guide my husband with clothes. He's never going to be a fashion conscious guy and lives in blue collar work clothes most of the time. Costco jeans and hickory shirts make the guy, you know. I'd like to help him a bit with his non-work wardrobe but know next to nothing about men's clothes. I only recently learned that the belt should match the shoes.

Nordstroms has a great men's dept and you can check by fashion levels (casual, dressy, occasion wear, etc) Or try JCrew....good luck!

A great place with lower prices is http://www.landsend.com The quality and durability of the clothes is really good! DH has a couple shirts that still look new after 3 yrs....sorry I didnt think of it earlier. They also have a great return policy and you can bring returns to any Sears store (which also carries a selection of their items.)

I dressed my hubby in a bunch of Gap "customer favorites" this winter, mostly dark wash jeans, button downs and striped sweaters:

It was great because I just ordered a bunch of stuff in his sizes, and then returned what didn't work in a store. I knew there was no way I'd get him into a store to try anything on. This was a great compromise. He got a new wardrobe and didn't even have to set foot in a mall to do it.

Brenda, buy him some magazines like GQ, Men's Health (they usually have a dressing/fashion section), etc. Men are VERY visual, and I think a magazine or even if you mark some catalogues with models styled? It might spark some interest?

As for shops: JCrew, Banana Republic, GAP, Nordies, Macy's, Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren.

My husband checks the men's fashion board over on Reddit, but he says the age range is huge so you have to be selective about what applies to you:

He said start by reading the Member Guides (over on the right side), especially "The Basics" and "Basic T-Shirt Sizing". After that, browse through their blogroll:

And pick out the ones that fit your situation/style preferences. His main points of advice are that dressing age appropriate + fit are super important (he says more than for women but pshaw ^^). He also insists that the rules for men are totally totally different than for women (to which I say, obviously) and that there is a common complaint that women don't know how to dress men So you'd be off to a good start by reading these!
