Should they stay or should they go: skirt clean-out

Earlier in the spring, I mentioned I had several longer-length skirts and wasn't sure if they should go. Don't worry about hurting my feelings ... if they need to go, I am ready to send them out into the universe to someone who needs them

#1 The pattern is so pretty but seems like it cannot be hemmed. With the pattern at the bottom, it does draw attention downward.
#2 is a casual look, but such a pretty color and seems like it would fit a niche like going to the park or picnic.
#3 I like how you've styled this one. It would be nicer if just a tad shorter, but I see the ribbon detail might make it hard to hem.
#4 It looks fun and beachy. Do you wear it often?
#5 could be hemmed
#6 looks like a keeper. Is it denim?

1. has a lovely looking pattern is there anyway it could be shortened?
2. My least favourite not sure if its the cut or colour
3. I love love love this one and i think the length is just about ok great with the yellow shoes
4. Too long not sure how it would hem with all the texture but could be worth a go it looks a cool summery skirt

Your feet look SO PRETTY In those sandals, Laura and I love the green banded top and purple knit top too. Very fab.

I like #6 best. #3 next. They look GREAT. The rest would appreciate a new home :0)

It looks like the decision has already been made;-) I agree with your choice, but just wanted to say that I hope you'll be able to find another skirt in that fantastic shade of green (picture 2). Definitely one of 'our' colours, isn't it?-)

I love #3 and #6...I think #1 has hope. Could you ,as Angie suggests on another thread ...pull it up to your natural waist, and take it in, that way you don't lose the pattern on the bottom yet loose several inches?

They are pretty for summer on you!

Well, I decided to do as Angie advised and keep #3 and #6 but pass everything else along. Really, I feel lucky that I have enough clothes so I can manage without them, and hopefully someone else will love them. I will miss the first blue printed one, though!

I'm late chiming in here but I just wanted to add that I love the fit of #3 on you. It looks especially nice with the yellow shoes. I just recently went through my closet and reluctantly parted with a skirt I loved. It was almost down to my ankles but I remember feeling so fab when I first bought it. It's funny how your taste changes over time.
