This post made me really happy. So fun to see you all together, clearly enjoying the company, and looking fab, too!

Looks like you're having so. much. fun. Love the jackets in 6, 7, & 10/11, and the boots make me wish I'd held off on my red ones.

I'm curious about the process: Did Angie gather up things for you before you got there based on a list, or from what she knows of you/the sale? The shoes are all really different--what were you looking for? At what point did budget enter into the equation?

I'll write a whole post on the process in a separate thread, Fashintern, just as soon as I get a chance. Will first do mini reviews of some of the items I tried on so people who are curious about fit and quality can get info on that. And then the big summary/ analysis. Will try my best to answer all your questions!

Thanks for the Pics Suz. So great to have some more insight and looking forward to reading more.

How did I forget that you're an author? You've got the whole thing sketched out & table of contents written!

Reading this account is the next best thing to actually being there. What a fantastically fun time you must have had! I love your purchases; they are perfect for you in so many ways. I also love the dress you wore for the shopping trip; it looks gorgeous on you.

Suz - you two and three are beyond adorable!! What an amazing day!! You just glow! Glad it was such a success. Can’t wait to read about what you bought. Any intell on boyfriend jeans is sincerely appreciated!!

Thank you, Windchime! That dress is such a winner in so many ways I can't even count. GORGEOUS lightweight all cotton material -- and it is a TWO PIECE so I can wear as separates. And do. From J. Crew last year -- one of my favourite purchases of the year. Became an instant workhorse and is still one.

Gryffin, thank you! Jeans post coming up tomorrow along with tops.

While we’re on the topic - I copied your two piece dress idea. It’s going to be so useful for my travels....

Ah, Christina -- some day we have got to meet in person. I picture us in our twinned outfits swanning around the MET and then going out for something yummy to eat in our practical footwear.

So much fabness. Nothing like a genuine good time between friends to bring out the best smiles! Yes, of course you needed those red boots. And thank you for writing detail posts because there is too much goodness for me to respond to in one post! Ok, thank you so much for posting and posing for these wonderful photos!

Such an amazing time and fun experience!

How fun you lucky duck!

Gorgeous jackets! I need to go back and read the details more closely.

Suz - YES. And if we plan to go to the Met, we need supportive shoes, for sure. Those marble floors are killer - and not in the sense that Angie uses it.

This is so awesome. I just saw your posts and am backtracking to read them. I had no idea you were planning to shop with the pro... best thing ever!

Ditto Peri-you do look like sisters!

OMG, you guys are so cute together!
