I've really become aware that my wardrobe is very lacking in the casual tops department.

So, I'm going to have to do something about it!

But I need some advice one what to look for...

I think I would prefer sleeveless woven's in a natural fibre as they are much better suited to my hot humid climate, and I think they would be good at bridging my desire to dress up, but not so over the top that I stand out too much at school (I'm ok standing out a bit like I do now, but can't go too OTT!).

And something that can be worn under cardi/jackets etc in cooler months.

But I'm not sure if I should look for plain, print, textured or otherwise embellished?

These tops (I'm thinking 3 in absolute total), would be worn
*dressed up with jeans for nights out
*with black or denim shorts
*with my white, turquoise or beige skirt.

So seeing as they'll mostly be worn with plain bottoms in blues/whites/black, I thought perhaps prints would be good?

I am hoping to get a bit of time tomorrow to have a look around, so I'd really love some feedback as to if I'm on the right track etc! And I'm off to read some of Angie's blog posts on casual wear...
