Have a wonderful time! The Doobies put on a great show. My favorite Doobies' song is South City Midnight Lady. What's yours?

We go see Bad Company Friday...one of my faves I've never seen in concert. Earlier this month was Lynyrd Skynyrd. How anyone could think any decade of music is better than the 70s is beyond me;-).

Have a great time. I am with Carter. The 70s was great for music. And so was the 60s. There was no other music. (paraphrase from movie "The Big Chill" which had incredible music)

The 70's are my music decade too, although I'm a bit of an anomaly because I like a lot of stuff from later decades too.

Are you guys in the Pro Michael McDonald or anti Michael McDonald club? I found out a few years ago that some Doobies fans hated how the band sound changed when he joined. I'm in the opposite camp, I love everything about him.

Oh, it's funny how certain music takes you back. I was never a huge fan of the Doobies and then I went on a long weekend trip with some friends, one of whom played a greatest hits tape (I am remembering old Black Water) the whole time. Unfortunately I also remember sleeping on the floor of a bus in Egypt as part of the trip. You haven't known grimy till your hair touched the floor of a public bus for an extended period.

I graduated from HS in 1967, then went off to college. So I was in the middle of the best era ever for music, starting with the Beatles. I love Dave Mason. "Only you know and I Know."
