I was heading out to the bookstore and the vacuum shop this morning. I was dressed in basic t-shirt, shorts and flip flops for doing chores around the house. I was about to leave and you guys popped into my head. I thought, "YLF would not approve of what I was wearing at all!", so I changed into this. I should have dressed it up a little more with a bracelet or something, but it was spur of the moment. I'm home now and will probably change back into my grungies.

The outfit it great, but I'm most impressed by your motivation to change to run errands! I'm trying my hardest to change my old habit of grocery shopping in shorts, but it's difficult!!

I love this look and envy any women who can wear white trousers to run errands. This is a look that will be on hold for me due to grubby little fingers for some time.

Thank you everybody! I did feel a lot better going out in this as opposed to my "at home" outfit. That blouse it one of my favorites. I bought it at Anthropologie last year for only $9.99! Now that's a bargain! Love things even more when I pay hardly a thing for them.

RoseandJoan I understand about the grubby little fingers! I have a 4 year old boy. I can't hold him when I'm wearing my white pants because his shoes brush against them. Well, of course, that day I wore my white jeans he had a melt down at the bookstore and wanted to be carried. I had to hold him in front of me with his feet sticking straight out. I bet we looked funny! lol!

I'm totally with you, RoseandJoan and shannon, about white and kids. That's one of my major reservations about wearing white (and anything that is dry clean only!) -- little grubby hands and feet. And also when the little sweeties hug you and rub their dirty faces on your pants, heh

Nice outfit! Have to laugh - the same thing happened to me awhile back. I was half-considering stopping off at the store on my way home from the gym. Normally, I wouldn't go anywhere (aside from gym) in my gym clothes...but because of the YLF Effect, I quickly banished the idea from my head.

I think this is funny - about to head on out the door in housework clothes or whatever...and then stopping yourself because of this place. Tee hee!
