Searching for... a RATE tote bag

i'm looking for a tote bag that is more RATE than my cobalt Steve Madden tote. I love that one for work, but it doesn't quite fit the weekend hauling activities or my casual style. Would love to know if you spy anything at a reasonable price!

Inge, I really need something larger - I end up hauling my own bag, plus snacks and water for games, plus general clutter. My car looks like a homeless shelter - it's full of ski gear, climbing gear, basketballs, empty water bottles, dog gear, and generally is the repository for all debris in the universe. And the tote bag will be a miniature version of THAT.

A strap would be good but not necessary... Don't want to go over $200 since this will be a bag that gets tossed around.

I have a large tote from The Sak. Used to run around for games, sports etc. I can get books, water bottles, snacks and even a small crossbody in there if I want to. I purchased it at Costco a few years ago and it was under 200. Perhaps it might suit your need if the Sherpa doesnt work out.

Ok, as you might know I'm a big Hayden Harnett fan. Always have admired the Ibiza Flight Tote:

Can be worn in 6 different ways. This iteration is quite pricey; their older ballistic nylon versions were under $200 I think.

Have you tried Zara? Not greatest quality but the price is right. Some are not leather so check composition.

I love #5 and #8, plus the last one from Rae's post. Una, #5 looks a lot like your Equipment snakeskin top, at least from the pics. And Rute's #1 photo is great, too - that one might have to go on my shopping list
