San's order from Nordy sale - YouLookFab Forum

I went hog wild looking at the Nordy's sale site. I'll post a link to what I ordered. Great deals. I splurged and ordered a DVF jacket top. It's rather expensive even on sale so if you all think I've made some fashion mistakes speak up. I am taking baby steps at learning what is apprpriate for me to wear and I haven't had my personal training with Angie yet.
The trench coat was not on sale. I think it may be the same one Angie has in her Parisian pictures. I don't know if I can pull off the white though.

That looks an awful lot like the black and white wrap dress I just bought at Macy's so maybe I am stuck in a rut.

I've always loved that style of dress. Do I have matronly taste?

Cute silhouete but fussy collar. I have a wool coat with the same collar.

It is my trench! Hmmm. Not sure if it will be too short. I’m 5ft 6 and you can see where it hits me.

San... I think that black dress with the belt feature is going to look FANTASTILICIOUS on you!!! (I just made that word up--like it?) I can't wait to see it. I love the trench (not stark at all--more creamy).

Yes this forum does tend to make one late!

I'll try it all on and see how I feel, like you say. I may not feel right in a white trench, I know that might be.
I am 5'8" so I'll pay attention to where the trench hits. Not that I know where it should, but I think I know were to ask the question!

I love the black dress and I bet it'll look great on you! Love the trench too! I hope the length works out for you. I'd be all over this trench if my life style allowed. I don't think you'll have a problem with this white at all.

I love the trench too and am trying to figure out if it will work for my lifestyle. I'm worried that the white will just get dirty too quickly. Also, I'm a pretty pear and only 5'4" so i'm not sure the proportions would be right. But it is SO cute!

I LOVE the white trench. I think it will look great. Can't wait to see pictures.

You are all very supportave. When I put myself out there asking if I have matronly taste in cothing, it is a bit scary to go back and find the answers. Thanks for the encouragement. That's what this group is all about and I love it. I had to order everything in 2 sizes to try on, so hope it isn't all very overwhelming.
I haven't yet found a dark rinse straight leg jean, maybe when I meet Angie she will lead me to the right one. I did order short capri's and skinny jeans from Armani exchange, also the Me Too flats at the great low price. It will be my first pair of flats. I like flats with a more narrow leg jean, rather than the boot cut. So lot's to look forward to trying.
